How our fees work

Based in Ammanford in South Wales, Andrew Jones (The Vatman) Ltd offers a pre-project advisory consultation in order to avoid common pitfalls and errors which is then followed up with a VAT reclaim in the form of a claim preparation and submission service for private individuals who have created a new dwelling.

Typically, 96% of reclaims come in at between £4,000 and £42,000, with the vast majority falling between £8,000 and £12,000. All reclaims that fall into this bracket are charged as follows:

For VAT reclaims of up to £10,000.00, the fee is £49.50 for every £1,000.00 of VAT reclaimed with a minimum fee of £375.00.
For VAT reclaims of over £10,000.00:

- £495.00 for the first £10,000.00 of VAT reclaimed

- and then £45.00 per £1,000.00 for the figure above £10,0000

For example: for a £12,000 reclaim, the fee would be £585.00. This equates to £495.00 for the initial £10,000, and then £90.00 for the additional £2,000.00.

The fee drops by £3.00 per £1,000.00 at every £10,000 increment thereafter.
